Our Team:

Dr. Sue Sterr received her undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University and is a 1995 graduate from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Graymont, Illinois, she spent the first five years of her veterinarian career working in Normal, Illinois. Dr. Sue and her husband bought Covenant Animal Clinic in 1999 and moved to Clinton at that time. Working with God’s creatures and their owners has been very rewarding for Dr. Sue. However, as a wife and a mother of three children, her family life keeps her equally busy. Dr. Sue and her family have two cats and Tilly, an English Setter at home.
Wendy Fuller has been a receptionist for four years at Covenant Animal Clinic. Working at a veterinarian office with animals has been a dream of hers since she was a child. Wendy grew up in Lockport, Illinois. She has a son, Christopher and a daughter, Stephanie. Wendy has rescued several cats and dogs over the years from shelters. She feels that the older pets need a home just as a cute little kitten or puppy. Wendy also has volunteered with Second Chance for pets for several years. Her motto is “There are not enough homes for all the un-wanted pets so the ONLY solution is to spay/neuter your pets!” When not working or saving animals Wendy enjoys going to the movies or walking the trail at Weldon Springs with her husband, Kemp. Please visit secondchanceforpets.com for pets in the area that are looking for a loving family to call their own!
